Chef Genio
With over 25 years of experience, Chef Gene has worked in everything from bustling food trucks to fine dining establishments. He’s not just a chef—he’s a craftsman, blending flavors with precision and passion. A Le Cordon Bleu graduate with high honors, his classical training is the foundation of every dish we create. Whether it’s a perfectly crisped Toston Cup or a melt-in-your-mouth Mofongo, Chef Gene brings skill, creativity, and a love for authentic Caribbean flavors to the table.

Chefette Alissa
Behind every successful kitchen is a well-run operation, and that’s where Chefette shines. With 20 years of executive C-Suite experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, she ensures that Sabor Chefs runs seamlessly. From creating an unforgettable dining experience to ensuring every plate reflects our high standards, customer service is at the heart of everything she does.

After the passing of my parents and only sister, I relocated to Hawai’i to be with my older brother.
That is where I was introduced to commercial kitchens, and cooking on the “line”
The creative aspect of cooking is similar to painting on a blank canvas and THAT is what I enjoy when cooking.
